On March 11th, 2026, our partner Expert Forum organized a public event with journalist and writer Anne Applebaum in Bucharest. The Event Drew a Large Crowd and Was Widely Reported on Television and in the Press. Anne Applebaum referred to Efor's research report 'Three decades of civil society — the ups and downs of promoting democracy in Romania' and made it clear how important civic society and civic space is, where communities can care more about their society.
